Take your favorite Mom on a cruise, May 13, 2017, 5-7 pm, the evening before Mother's Day. Enjoy the birds of spring along the lower Connecticut River with East Haddam Land Trust's bird watch cruise on the RiverQuest, operated by Connecticut River Expeditions.
Each spring, migrating water birds flock to the lower Connecticut River, joining eagles and other year-round inhabitants. This cruise brings the treasures and unique beauty of the river valley up close and highlights how the region's preserved land and waterways help keep the lower Connecticut River Valley a vibrant home for a diverse population of birds.
We launch from Eagle Landing State Park, Rt 82, Haddam on the RiverQuest promptly at 5 pm.
Light snacks will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own food and refreshments
